INVOLVED IN THE GREATER CHAPEL HILL COMMUNITY for many years – first as a student, later as a parent and restaurateur and now, for the last fourteen years, a Residential REALTOR. My commitment to real estate brokerage is the culmination of my experience in the hospitality service industry, a family background in residential construction and a graduate degree in environmental management.

Operating the Pyewacket Restaurant on West Franklin Street of Chapel Hill for many years taught me the importance of focused listening, full service, attention to detail and timely follow through. For sellers, my support will be broad-based with specific guidelines on property preparation and staging, comparative sales data and pricing, multi-media marketing and effective sales negotiation.

With a background in environmental management and training in green home building principles and techniques, I can guide clients toward more energy efficient and healthy housing options. Our team of service providers can provide both the information and implementation necessary to achieve these benefits.

I also bring another asset to the table: my Franklin Street Realty Associate (and Wife) Jenny Wears.  We provide backup support for one another in an effort to ensure the most attentive service to our clients.  Her interior design training and experience dovetail well with my residential construction background.
